What’s your New Years Resolution?
Most of my friends are determined to loose weight, get in shape or be
healthier (stop smoking and less drinking) for me that is not the case. My New
Years Resolution is to get my sense of humor back. I use to have a great
sense of humor always happy and care free( the life of the party) until I got
married and had kids. It seems life got so serious for me and turned me into a
responsible boring adult. Everything is about getting things done, meeting
schedules, teaching lessons (to both my kids and husband) that I have seem to
misplaced my sense of humor and I am determined to find it! 2010 is going to be all
about fun and laughter (after all those things are free.) Anybody want to join me?

Did you find your sense of humor? How? I have completely lost of sense of happiness and content that I know I should have at this point in life. Wonderful husband, two normal but difficult tween kids, animals galore and beautiful nature surrounding us. I just cannot seem to find the hilarious funny girl that I used to be…lost in the country.

I love your resolution. I am feeling the same way as you do. I have never had a good sense of humor, but I was always appreciative of those people who did. I am sure you will get it back. Or at least, may be, you could turn it on when you are around fun people. I just think that you have to be around younger and funnier people. Life is not getting any easier as you are older, it is just doesn’t seems as exciting any more. Have your circle of people that you love to meet with and try to find time to have that fun evening. I am sorry. May be I already sound like one of the boring people that like to give advise. Stay away from me.
